When graduate students are asked during their exit interview what the highlight of their graduate program was, the answer is always ‘the opportunity to get to know faculty.’ In addition, funding visiting scientists fosters new collaborative scholarly endeavors with faculty and graduate students in the foods and nutrition department.”
